Simply put, experiential learning is the process of learning from experience.  

Kolb Learning Cycle

The most common framework for Experiential learning comes from the work of David Kolb. 

The cycle guides the development of experimental learning activities. During training with Authentic Leadership Solutions, we create experiences using the experiential learning cycle. Participants will participate in an experience on which they will reflect, through assignments, discussions, activities and from which they will learn new perspectives and knowledge. Participants will then apply and use these learnings in their work environment.
